Positions Available at our Novi, Michigan Office

Field Application Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will assist customers, sales team, and distributors with fieldbus applications, product configuration and training; provide technical product and application presentations; provide technical training to customers and distributors; and will also provide advanced technical support and perform remote and on-site troubleshooting when necessary.

This position requires an advanced understanding of electronics and control applications with a focus on industrial networking, and familiarity with PLC programming, troubleshooting, commissioning, and fieldbus applications.

Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills are required. This position requires a minimum of 50% domestic travel.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; A Bachelor’s degree in engineering (E. E.) is desired. 5+ years experience in industrial control applications and knowledge of pneumatic controls desirable.


Project Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for the coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects; plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates assigned engineering work; monitors work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and ASCO standards. This position requires establishing plans for developmental, qualification and approval agency testing for new products; project engineering scheduling and forecasts; coordination with project clients and resolving client/engineering/management project issues; assisting in the preparation of engineering proposals; and guide cross functional team thru project plan to successful completion of engineering projects.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree required (E. E. or M.E.). Basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Familiarity with plastics, elastomers, and metals. 3-5 years experience.


Design Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for the design of new components, mathematical analysis, design and detailing. This position will also assist with document control, sustaining engineering and customer/supplier interface. The position requires strong Solid Model 3D and 2D CAD expertise, Windows, FMEA/FEA, fluid mechanics, understanding of DIN/ISO standards, design for manufacturability, and product data management software capability. Familiarity with Pro-E Wildfire 4.0 and PDMLink is a strong plus. Manufacturing experience preferred.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (M.E.) required. 3 to 5 years experience required.
