Basic Pneumatics School
ANSI Symbol - Air Valve This school is designed to give engineers and trades people a basic understanding of symbology, terminology and application & types of pneumatic components. This 24 hour school covers ANSI/ISO symbology of 2,3 & 4 way valves; 2 & 3 position valves and application of each. Features and benefits of several models and brands of valves are investigated and explained. The various methods of valve actuation and operation are explored, with explanation of the pros and cons of each. The multiple means of controlling cylinder speed are examined as applied to system applications. The issue of lubrication and proper filtration are illustrated with OHSA & ISO requirements and future manufacturing trends in mind.
